We have learned with deep sorrow that at least 20 people lost their lives and 50 people were wounded as a result of the bomb attack perpetrated against a Shiite Mosque in the city of Shikarpur in Sindh Province of Pakistan during Friday Prayer today (30 January 2015).

We strongly condemn this heinous attack targeting the peace, stability and tranquility of Pakistan, and we reiterate our strong feelings of solidarity with the friendly and brotherly Government and people of Pakistan on the occasion of this tragic incident.

We wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives as a result of this attack, convey our condolences to their families and wish a speedy recovery to those wounded.
