Press Release Regarding the Humanitarian Ceasefire Declared in Yemen

We welcome the humanitarian ceasefire declared in Yemen as of tonight until the end of Ramadan.
President Hadi’s responsible and constructive attitude has been key to the declaration of the humanitarian ceasefire.
We welcome the efforts Ismail Walid Shaikh Ahmed, Special Representative of the UN Secretary General in Yemen, towards the humanitarian ceasefire.
We wish the ceasefire to become permanent and the humanitarian aid brotherly Yemeni people need is delivered urgently.
Turkey will continue to make every contribution on this path along with the international community.
