No: 128, 25 April 2017, Press Release Regarding The Terrorist Attack In Kurram, Pakistan

It has been learned with great sorrow that, according to initial reports, at least ten persons, including census workers and children, were killed and 13 people were injured as a passenger van hit a landmine, in Kurram agency of Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan.

We condemn this heinous terrorist act targeting the peace, stability and tranquility of Pakistan, and we reiterate our strong feelings of solidarity with the friendly and brotherly Government and people of Pakistan on the occasion of this tragic incident.

We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives as a result of this attack, convey our condolences to their families and wish a speedy recovery to those wounded.
