No: 231, 14 July 2017, Release Regarding the Statements of Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Turkey
We return verbatim the inappropriate expressions, if used, of Greek Prime Minister Mr. Alexis Tsipras on Turkey that he reportedly made during the press conference in Thessaloniki on 13 July, in response to a question.
Such words befit neither the personality of Prime Minister Mr. Tsipras nor the office he holds. On this occasion, we reiterate our expectation that the politicians holding high-level offices in Greece show a responsible stance in issues regarding Turkey.
