H.E. Taro Kono, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, will pay an official visit to Turkey on 28 December 2017, upon the invitation of H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey.
This will be the first visit of H.E. Kono to Turkey in his capacity as Foreign Minister.
During the meetings, in addition to the political, economic and cultural aspects of bilateral relations which were upgraded to the level of "Strategic Partnership" in 2013, regional and international issues will be discussed.
